Dr. Isabella Batallas-Myers was born in Florida, but raised in Georgia. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree and a minor in Applied Statistics and Data Analysis at Kennesaw State University. Continuing her education at Augusta University, she earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at The Dental College of Georgia and Master of Business Administration at the Hull College of Business. Among school and work, Dr. Batallas also engaged in a plethora of leadership positions and community service opportunities. Her dedication in these respective roles were recognized with a Distinction in Leadership upon graduation and with membership to the Alpha Upsilon Phi honorary society.
Today, Dr. Batallas is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and Northwestern District Dental Society. She is trained as a QPR instructor and Mental Health First Aider, and holds CPR certification. Dr. Batallas is passionate about providing care to underserved areas, as evidenced by her work throughout Georgia and in Honduras. Her giving nature will continue through her love of volunteering and taking care of people, while her dental education persists through her devotion to learning.
Dr. Batallas comes from a large, close knit immediate family that is proudly Greek and Ecuadorian. Alongside her husband, Evan, she shares her home with a cat and two dogs. Together, they love spending time with their families, traveling and exercising. In her leisure time, Dr. Batallas enjoys crafting, reading, and listening to music and podcasts. As a new member of Johnson Family Dentistry, she looks forward to joining the team in providing compassionate and exceptional care to all patients.
